Sustainability Policy & Cloud Compliance Manager

Location: Brussels, Belgium
Full-time
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Start: October 2025

Be part of a mission to build a secure, sustainable, and sovereign European cloud. As Sustainability Policy & Cloud Compliance Manager, you will lead efforts to align cloud infrastructure services with Europe’s climate and regulatory objectives.

Working at the intersection of industry and EU policymaking, you will coordinate sustainability initiatives across a trusted coalition of cloud infrastructure providers, represent their voice in key legislative processes and coordinate existing CISPE certifications to position CISPE as the home for regulatory compliance of cloud providers in Europe.

This is a unique opportunity to drive measurable impact towards climate neutrality in a sector critical to Europe’s digital and economic resilience.

About CISPE

CISPE is the most representative, respected and relevant association for cloud infrastructure providers in Europe. Working for the benefit of cloud vendors and users, it has proven itself a valuable partner to European institutions through the provision of insight and the development of practical tools, frameworks, codes of conduct and guides that help implement EU policy and support industry compliance. CISPE is governed by an exclusively European board that enshrines the power of smaller players while understanding market reality and developing federated, distributed and multi-cloud approaches.

CISPE is co-founder and convener of the Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact (CNDCP), an industry initiative bringing together over 100 data centre operators and 29 trade associations committed to achieving climate neutrality by 2030. Working in close collaboration with the European Commission, the Pact provides expert insights, data, and technical guidance to support the development and implementation of effective environmental policies for the data centre sector. Through dedicated working groups, it offers a platform for addressing energy efficiency, water usage, and circular economy measures, helping to shape future regulations and sustainability standards while reinforcing the sector’s leadership in Europe’s green and digital transition.
